Sidrat al-Muntahā (Arabic: سدرة المنتهى‎) is a Lote tree that marks the end of the seventh heaven, the boundary where no creation can pass, according to Islamic beliefs. During the Isra and Mi'raj, Muhammad, being the only one allowed, travelled with the archangel Gabriel to the Sidrat al-Muntaha where it is said that God assigned the five daily prayers to all Muslims (El-Sayed El-Aswad 84). // wiki

Сидрат аль-мунтаха (араб. سدرة المنتهى — лотос крайнего предела) — мистическое лотосовое мировое дерево на седьмом небе возле престола Аллаха (Арша). Сидрат аль-мунтаха называют «предельным» по причине того, что именно до него доходит все, что восходит с земли, и все, что нисходит от Аллаха. По другой версии название произошло от того, что оно находится выше земли и семи небес, и на нём заканчиваются познания творений. Число его листьев равно числу людей на земле. Падение листа означает смерть человека.
